Language Equity and Access: The Language Equity and Access Act (15 ILCS 56) directs all State of Illinois agencies to prepare and submit a language access plan to the Governor’s Office of New Americans to support statewide efforts to ensure meaningful access to information, services, programs, and activities to individuals with limited English proficiency.
